Kallfass

Today's company was founded by Ernst Kallfass Senior and his wife Frida as a machine and apparatus construction company. In the beginning, repair work was performed in particular for the local wood-working industry. By the late 60s, KALLFASS was among the first to built one of the first stackers for sawn timber.

In 1975, Ernst Kallfass, the founder's son entered the company, and in 1984, the company was handed over to him. Under his management, manufacturing was rationalised, products were further developed and the existing single machines and conveyors combined to complete manufacturing systems.

From this time onwards, the growing trend of performing pallet wood cuts straight to the sawmills opens up this clientele for flexible cross-cut, stacking and sorting machines.
